Here we are, with another family affair that’s gonna give us a really cool release! Marcus Jordan’s Trophy Room is back at it again with Jordan Brand and a new collab. That’s why today, we’re gonna check out the upcoming Trophy Room Jordan 1 Low. The best bit about this release is that it’s gonna include two very similar colorways with a tiny difference. And at the heart of both versions is a story!
So, let’s jump in and check out what these babies are all about. These pairs might become as much collectibles as the inspirations behind them. In other words, you’ll want in on all of that. But just in case you wanna expand your list of Jordan must-haves, check out the Spring lineup here. Now, let’s jump into today’s kicks and their stories, shall we?
First off, the Trophy Room Jordan 1 Low ‘Home’ edition features a reverse black-toe color blocking. However, the swoosh embroidery will come in white! Moreover, the red satin front will feature the Trophy Room insignia in embroidery. The heel area features the Wings logo on the heel along with Michael Jordan’s signature to add extra flair! Finally, the blue and yellow trim at the edges is a nod to the 1986 Fleer Rookie card that featured MJ himself. This card is worth thousands of dollars according to the PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator).
So, the year is 1984, and Sports Illustrated featured a bit about Michael Jordan as a rookie! And in that issue, there’s a picture of MJ wearing his Chicago Bulls warmups and the Jordan 1 Black Toe. And well, the Trophy Room Jordan 1 Low ‘Away’ takes its inspo from this specific picture! It basically looks the same as the ‘Home’ edition, with one main difference: the embroidered swoosh is black. Finally, both the ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ pairs will come with black, white, and yellow laces.
As you would expect, copping the Trophy Room Jordan 1 Low colorways won’t be an easy feat. The Rookie Card – Away pair will drop on March 14, 2024, exclusively at the Trophy Room store via raffle. These babies will retail for $140, and it’s currently worth a whopping average of $1,138 in resale! However, if you miss the Trophy Room drop, Nike SNKRS will launch the collab on March 21, 2024! And that’s not all, because the Home pair will follow sometime this year, so keep an eye on them.
As for the other pair, it’s gonna be available at Trophy Room and select retailers. So, these will be possibly easier to cop… unless they get backdoored. Yeah, yeah, the industry doesn’t forget easily! Now, the ‘Away’ pair is currently worth $1,700+ in resale, so now you kinda know what to expect in terms of profit.
A very important release like this is definitely not gonna go by without attention. Everyone and their mother will be after it. Whether it’s to wear them or to resell them for profit, the Trophy Room Jordan 1 Low is a must-have. And to ensure you have a good chance at scoring these, you need a great sneaker bot.
