No day is a regular day in the industry when you’re a sneakerhead! And whenever Ye or Travis Scott are involved, you know things will get hot. But when both artists come together to promote a pair of kicks, that means the game is ON. Don’t worry though, you don’t have to imagine what that would be like. You see, Ye is the star of the latest Jumpman Jack campaign, and we’re all here for it. But what will that mean for the average collector? And what does it mean for the sneaker game as a whole? Well, let’s see what went down and answer all these questions, shall we?
Cactus Jack, Ye, Kicks – The Holy Sneaker Trinity?
Okay, let’s do a quick recap of all the drama, hype, and news. First off, Ye’s shenanigans within and beyond the industry don’t need an introduction. So to sum it up, we know that historically, Ye left due to beef with Nike over creative freedom. Then, he went on to give us the Adidas Golden Goose, the Yeezy line. And well, we all remember how that ended. Of course, nothing would stop Ye from putting out his products under his trademark. And from the Pods to some more… questionable endeavors, he’s been out and about!
As to Travis Scott, we all know that his relationship with Jordan Brand and Nike is as solid as ever! From the iconic Jordan 1 collabs to three-way partnerships, the kicks are as in demand as they were on day 1. Obviously, the sneakers’ values on the aftermarket are proof enough, especially since the trend is going up! And now, the latest bomb that he dropped certainly put him once again front and center when it comes to sneaker releases.
The Cactus Jack T-Rexx – The First Signature ft. Ye
In a surprising move, Travis Scott managed to get Ye to star in the campaign for his first signature shoe! The Jumpman Jack, aka Cactus Jack T-Rexx, just got Ye’s stamp of approval. After all, it’s not easy to get him to ditch Yzys for Js, right? And we all remember that the Kanye x Nike hasn’t been a thing for about a decade now. Now, in the Instagram teaser, we only saw snippets of Ye himself and a flash of Travis’ logo. However, pictures of the photoshoot surfaced, and Ye was absolutely rocking the kicks! Naturally, we all went nuts after seeing this video, with many fans speculating on what the heck that means.
But… What Does It Really Mean?
Is this video a soft launch of a potential three-way collab? Or is Ye back on good terms with Nike? After all, in the last few years, we did spot him rocking the Swoosh. But it could be simply a marketing stunt to make sure the Cactus Jack T-Rexx sells out. If that’s the case, then that strategy worked big time. And we all know that Nike always goes above and beyond with its commercials. Unfortunately for the fans, the University Red colorway dropped exclusively on Travisscott.com and immediately sold out.
However, we can probably expect a wider Nike SNKRS release at some point in the future. And when that day comes, you really don’t wanna stay on the sidelines with a profit like that. So, to save you from that dilemma, we recommend that you look into sneaker botting. From what it is to the best bots on the market, you gotta do your homework before investing. But with the right investment, you’ll be making a profit in absolutely no time. And who knows? The next big drop might be the reason you become a sneaker reseller. Godspeed!
