After many successful collaborative releases, Travis Scott and Jordan Brand are taking the relationship to the next level. You see, Cactus Jack is finally getting his brand-new signature silhouette! This is a pretty drastic change after years of reworking existing models. So, what will the new Travis Scott Jordan Cut the Check look like? Let’s find out together, shall we? And just in case you wanna take a trip down memory lane, here’s a recap of Travis Scott’s collab. Now, let’s get down to it and check the kicks, shall we?
Welcome to Travis Scott’s Utopia
If you haven’t heard of Utopia, you probably live under a rock. In fact, Utopia became an international thing after Travis’ intent to do his live show at the Giza Pyramids. However, the album’s release date came and went, and Utopia didn’t happen. According to the latest news, Egypt’s Utopia won’t be happening, and ticket holders will get a refund. In fact, Live Nation announced all that on July 26, two days prior to the now-canceled Utopia event.
Anyhow, that didn’t stop the rapper from dropping a surprising pair of Utopia Air Force 1s! Honestly, the sneakers are just your basic Air Force 1s, white leather and all. However, the heel features the Cactus Jack and Utopia signatures, making them immediately more valuable. These babies retailed for $150, and they’re already worth $306 in average resale. But well, these kicks are not signature kicks… but that’s about to change!
Travis Scott Jordan Cut the Check – About Time!
Now, after the whole Utopia excitement, it seems like Jordan Brand and Cactus Jack are ramping things up! You see, La Flame’s first Nike/Jordan collab dates all the way back to 2017. So, taking that into consideration, it took him almost 6 years to get his first signature shoe! But what do we know about them so far? Only what we saw in pictures and what leaks told us. You see, Travis has always been his own biggest marketer. He wears something, and magically everybody wants it.

So, the first time we saw the Travis Scott Jordan Cut the Check was at the Cannes Film Festival! Talk about the right place to soft launch a collab, huh? Anyway, everyone saw Travis rocking an unfamiliar pair of Jordans that definitely isn’t from the archives. Soon after, rumors emerged of Scott’s first signature Js, and everyone connected the dots. When rumors said that Travis is moving on from the AJ1, they really weren’t kidding.
What We Know So Far – Travis Scott Jordan Cut the Check
If you’re keeping up with Travis Scott, you might have seen him in two different colorways of the kicks. And that’s apparently because we can expect multiple colorways to drop. So far, we caught glimpses of an olive-ish colorway of the kicks. These babies look like they’re inspired by Jordan 5s and Air Yeezys at the same time. The soles are giving AJ5, while the upper strap is totally giving Ye’s Air Yeezy vibe.
Another colorway that we saw is a black and brown iteration that’s definitely as interesting as it sounds. There also seem to be more colorways on the way. However, we’re gonna have to wait until later this year before we get these babies. In the meantime, you gotta get preppin’ to catch the kicks when they drop. And the only way you can do that is by investing in the best sneaker bot you can find. Don’t worry though, because NSB is here for you, giving you the benefit of copping from all the important retailers and Nike SNKRS! Read more about this right here and you can always check for yourself. Godspeed!
