The Penny Foamposite One Is Making a 2023 Comeback!

2023 seems to be a promising year when it comes to sneakers. Although the industry isn’t what it was for many, it’s still growing non-stop. Now, you know that there is no future if there is no past, especially when it comes to sneakers. The industry loves a retro, especially if it hasn’t been around for a long time. And one of Nike’s coolest collaborators is lowkey Penny Hardaway! If you’re a 90’s kid, then you totally know what a Penny Foamposite One drop means. And let’s face it, after the Stussy Air Penny release, you know that you shouldn’t sleep on Penny kicks!

The Penny Foamposite One – Love at First Sight!

Did you know that the Nike Foamposite wasn’t really made for Penny Hardaway? Eric Avar originally designed the kicks for Scottie Pippen. However, when Penny saw the silhouette in Avar’s bag, it was love at first sight! Now, despite him not being the first person to lace the kicks on, the sneakers became one of his signature shoes, and the PEs were mad awesome. And if you wanna know more fun facts about the Foamposites, check this out.

A PE Penny Foamposite Is All We Need in 2023

The 1997 silhouette has a long history of hype, expensive retail, and more. But what if we told you that one of the rarest Penny Foamposite PEs is coming your way in 2023? We’re not even joking! This pair is inspired by the Orlando Magic home kit which is mainly white. So naturally, the upper will feature a white shell with black leather uppers and black laces. The blue insoles serve as a nod to the blue in the team’s colorway. And finally, the kicks are complete with the ice soles and carbon fiber shank plate. Of course, we’re not gonna forget Penny’s awesome logo on the heels!

Release Info

If these babies are something you’d like to add to your sneaker collection, then here’s what you need to know. The white Penny Foamposite One will drop on April 7, 2023. However, these babies will retail for a steep $240 because Foamposites are expensive since the day they originally dropped. And many would agree that although it’s a lot to pay, the kicks are certainly worth it! After all, with the process behind it, it’s not surprising that it’s an expensive shoe to manufacture. And if you’re wondering, the kicks are currently worth $253 on average in resale.

Wanna Catch the Kicks?

Whichever the reason behind your wanting to cop these babies, we get it. The Penny Foamposite One is coming back for the first time in ages! But you’re not the only one who thinks these kicks are worth the effort or adding to your collection. So always try to tip the odds in your favor using a sneaker bot like NSB. With NSB3 coming soon, you’ll be able to put that Nike SNKRS module into serious work. You can read more about the upcoming updates right here. And who knows? It might be the way for you to start making money online! Godspeed
