Patta Air Max 1 – Catching Some Waves Even During the Fall!

We love sneakers that go into our hearts, and pockets, effortlessly. And the Patta Air Max 1 collaboration did exactly that! Remember how we discussed the Air Max comeback? We mentioned that Patta is a major player on the front line of the revival. Nike is proving us right with the new collaboration! Read on to check out everything there is to know about this awesome-looking pair.

Nike Patta – How Did the Collab Start?

If you’re a real sneakerhead, then this story shouldn’t come as a surprise for you. But then again, Patta was always lowkey with its Nike collaborations. It’s not really a niche, but if you know about it, then you know. The Dutch brand launched in 2004, where Edson Sabajo and Guillaume Schmidt found a gap in the market and decided to fill it. The word Patta is a nod to their Surinamese heritage because patta is a slang term for shoes!

Anyway, the store quickly gained momentum and reputation. And these are the magic words to earn a Nike collab! So, come 2006, Nike and the 2-years-old Patta are already dropping their first kicks: the Air Max 90 Homegrown Grass! From then on, the collabs kept coming, but only for the ones who knew where to look.

Patta Air Max 1 “Noise Aqua”

This colorway is the second Nike collab with Patta in 2021. It follows the first monarch orange colorway that dropped just a couple of weeks ago. This time, the kicks feature aqua blue details including the very interesting wavy take on the AM1 mudguard! The kicks will also come in a special box and will include a nice charm bracelet. Some pairs will come without the charm though, it depends.

Release Info

Sadly, the pair already dropped on the Patta website on October 29, 2021. The good news is Patta is a Shopify site, and our users managed to get Ws using NSB! However, if you really want the pair, don’t lose heart just yet. The Nike SNKRS drop is on November 5, 2021, and the Patta Air Max 1 will retail for $160! And for this, you’re gonna need an awesome Nike bot. Copping manually won’t give you the same chance as going all-in with a bot!

Besides being a pretty interesting pair, the blue Patta Air Max 1 is worth 2x the original retail price. So whether you’re starting a sneaker collection or flipping, you’ve got a good pair cooking! Just make sure you’re ready for this drop by checking this guide out.

Previous Patta Air Max 1 Collabs

2021’s collabs are so good, but we still love us some classics. That’s why we decided to give you a rundown of previous Patta Air Max 1 releases. And unless you know your kicks for a long time, these would probably go under the radar! Today, some of these are worth a lot of money on the aftermarket, so make sure you check them out.
