One year ago this month, Nike alongside Virgil Abloh enchanted the world with the Off White x Nike The Ten collection. Since then, everything Abloh touched turned to gold. The King Midas of collabs soon became Men’s Artistic Director at Louis Vuitton. And in 2018, he’s released a fair number of Off White Nikes to complement those of The Ten collection. And this time around, Abloh is adding more colors into the mix. Which brings us to the upcoming release: Nike Off White Zoom Fly 2.
The Zoom Fly is essentially made for runners, hence its name “Zoom Fly”. It’s lightweight to help with performance, fits like a sock, and has optimum cushioning. It is durable enough to take the road for long runs like marathons and such. So you could definitely run in style with the Off White version (if you dare).
Word is in that the Nike Off White Zoom Fly will drop in two colorways, the Black pair and the Pink one. Last year, Virgil and Nike dropped a White pair that came with Black detailing. This time, there will not only be a Black pair with White detailing, but also a Pink one.
You can’t miss the huge text that reads “FOAM” on the sole, highlighting the resilient cushioning material that makes the Zoom Fly what it is. To complete the look on translucent uppers, rubber outsoles, and Lunarlon cushioning technology, are light blue trademark zip ties attached to the laces on each pair.
According to @py_rates, both of these colorways of the Nike Off White Zoom Fly SP will drop on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.
A number of Nike Off White sneakers are still due to drop this year. They include:
