Nike Court Vision vs Air Force 1 – Teacher vs Sub Things?

As sneakerheads, we really don’t like to compare the greats. However, some silhouettes really make you do it, especially if they’re very much alike. But no two silhouettes are totally the same, or else they’d come under the same name, right? That’s why today, we’re gonna see how that Nike Court Vision vs Air Force 1 comparison stands! And if you’re looking for some more comparisons to make a purchase decision, we got you:

Nike Court Vision vs Air Force 1 – History

We kinda covered the whole history of the Nike Air Force 1 here, but here’s a rundown of the basics. The Air Force 1 first dropped in 1982 as a state-of-the-art basketball shoe. And it really was, since it was the first basketball show to include Air cushioning! Although sneaker tech evolved since then, Nike Air Force 1 stood the test of time. Today, the AF1 is one of Nike’s best-sellers with thousands of colorways in existence!

Moving on to the Nike Court Vision, it’s a much newer silhouette. In fact, it dropped in 2014, so it’s just shy of 10 years old. The Swoosh marketed the kicks as tennis sneakers, and they’re certainly light enough to be that! And well, they certainly look pretty nice and very similar to the Air Force 1. But today, we’re all about the comparison and where the kicks aren’t really similar.

So, in terms of the backstory of the kicks, we have a winner: Nike Air Force 1.

Money, Money, Money…

Say what you want, but money does matter when it comes to sneakers. And if you can’t afford an expensive pair of sneakers, why not go for a similar, less costly pair? For example, when it comes to Air Force 1, the kicks retail for $110 and more. Some AF1s would go for much much more, especially if they’re a hot collab. Take the Tiffany AF1s for example; these retailed for a whopping $400! Moral of the story? You probably might wanna save up for Air Forces if you don’t have that amount of money to spare immediately.

Can’t save up and looking for something a tad more affordable for a pair of kicks? We gotchu. The Nike Court Vision retails for about $70 – $75. However, you can buy these babies for much less if you catch them on sale! Some pairs can go as low as $50 if you keep an eye out for sales and discount codes.

For Nike Court Vision vs Air Force 1 price, the clear winner is: Nike Court Vision

Nike Court Vision vs Air Force 1 – Design

So, we’re not gonna waste your time and break down the technical difference… we have a table for that. However, we gotta acknowledge the fact that the Court Vision is a smaller version of the Air Force 1. In other words, if you want to own AF1s but their chunkiness puts you off, Court Visions are for you. But when it comes to the materials, the panel-blocking, and aesthetics, these babies are a draw.

Sooo… Which Shoe Should You Buy?

It’s gonna sound cliché, but it really depends on what you feel like. If you’re into history as much as you’re into the kicks, it’s the AF1 for you. But if you’re looking for a more affordable alternative or beaters that you won’t feel sad over, it’s the Court Vision. Finally, if the design is what you’re after, then you might as well get both! And that’s everything we have to say about the Nike Court Vision vs Air Force 1 debate. Godspeed!
