Every year, Nike finds a new way to take the Air Max line to new heights. And in 2024, the Swoosh not only updated but also revolutionized the Air technology on which it prides itself. So, today, we’re gonna check out the latest installment in this line: the Nike Air Max DN. What’s so special about these babies? And why is it a must-have this year? Well, read on to find out the answer and more! But if you want more, our blog has your back with the latest sneaker, industry, and botting news.
First of all, let’s talk about the general look of the kicks. The DN in the Nike Air Max DN stands for Dynamic Air. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because it kinda feels like the Air Max TN (which is short for Tuned Air). Interestingly enough, the 2024 silhouette takes inspiration from the 1998 silhouette. However, the material and design of the kicks are certainly new in every aspect!
So, at first glance, the Nike Air Max DN looks pretty… basic, but it’s anything but that! You see, the upper features a mesh composition, with stitching all over that looks like waves. Moreover, it complete the look with a silicone layer, to give it that sleek look. Now, all that is good and dandy, but we’re here to talk about the groundbreaking new Air technology! Shall we?
Now that we’re done with the general upper look, we have to look at the new Air technology. While at its core it’s still… Air, it’s the way the new midsole rocks the unit. Now, usually, the Air usually has the same pressure throughout the whole unit. But this time, it’s a whole lot different because the unit is split into two chambers. Each chamber has two tubes in it, and each two tubes has a specific pressure.
So, after trial, error, refinement, and retrials, the verdict was out. The higher pressure sits in the back two tubes (15 psi) and the lower pressure in the front two tubes (5 psi). Now, this feels counterintuitive since you’d expect the softer tubes to go in the back for cushioning. However, to get that dynamic feel, the designers found that the exact opposite is the answer. So, when you step, the air moves dynamically with you, which provides the ultimate comfort. Finally, the kicks are complete with a brand-new Nike Air badge!
As you would expect, Nike Air Max DN will drop on March 26, 2024, aka Air Max Day. The kicks will retail for $160, which kinda makes sense with all the technology coming with them. Moreover, they’re eco-friendly with most of their material being recycled, which falls in line with the Move to Zero initiative. Moreover, rumor has it that multiple colorways will drop including black, white, and volt yellow. Oh, and a cooler bit of info? Supreme SS24 will include a collaborative pair of the Nike Air Max DN!
Finally, before you go, there are two things to keep in mind. First off, you should know how your Air Max will fit to choose the right size. Second, you might wanna be fast on drop day to score these babies. And to be able to do that, you need a sneaker bot that supports Nike SNKRS. Don’t worry though, because we have just the bot for you. NSB3 supports Nike SNKRS, kicks ass on Shopify, and well, it’s fairly simple to use! So make sure you get your key today, and check out our botting guides for more help. Godspeed!
