Just when we thought that New Balance played all of its cards when it comes to kicks, we’re positively surprised! It seems like the brand still has a lot of tricks up its sleeve, and we’re ready for it all. From awesome collabs to boosting different divisions like NB# and more, New Balance is here to stay. So today, we’re gonna check out how the New Balance Golf division is putting the brand back on the green courses! But before we do, make sure you check out our blog for all the latest sneaker releases. If you already have that under control, let’s jump into today’s story, shall we?
Since When Does New Balance Golf Exist?
Although New Balance started back in 1906, it took the brand 108 years to launch its Golf line. So, in 2014, the New Balance Golf division launched, but it was pretty lowkey and not on everyone’s radar. But in another effort to breach into many fields, the brand is launching new silhouettes in 2024! And if there’s anything we have to say about these babies, it’s that they’re pretty cool. Now, the question here is, why should you care about these kicks? Well, if we have it in us to care about Travis Scott’s Golf Jordan 1s, these definitely deserve a chance.
The Golf Shoes We Didn’t Know We Need!
Although the Jordan Brand Golf line stole the show with Travis Scott’s collab, there’s a lot of room for competition. And obviously, that was enough room for New Balance Golf to slip into! You see, in 2024, NB gave us the following silhouettes with the golf treatment:
- Heritage Golf
- Spikeless 480s
The first pair features the signature outsole spikes that golf kicks usually have. However, the 480s are spikeless, and that kinda reminds us of the Jordan 1 Low Golf! These babies also came without spikes and can be worn as normal kicks if you’re not a golfer. So, this might be New Balance’s attempt at imitating the success of the Js. And who knows? They might just succeed! If you wanna learn more about these babies and previous New Balance Golf kicks, check this out.
New Balance Golf Isn’t What You’re Looking For?
We get it, sneakers like these aren’t always as hype as your popular collabs. However, some gems like this Malbon Golf x New Balance 997G are worth an impressive amount on the resale market. And when you see drops like these, you can understand how the sneaker industry is far from dead. On the contrary, there’s a lot of potential, it’s just about where you’re looking. If you wanna learn more about the future of the sneaker industry, you’ll wanna check this out. And if you wanna know how you can become a sneaker reseller and make that sweet profit, we got you.
