MSCHF Reebok Pump Omni Zone IX – Kicks That Go Boing Boing!

If there’s one constant fact about MSCHF, it’s that it consistently surprises us. You think that a Big Red Boot is the weirdest shoe the brand put out? Think again! The list of MSCHF shoes is growing, collab by collab… and sometimes lawsuit by lawsuit. But now, it’s not gonna be a scandalous, but rather a fun and official collab! The MSCHF Reebok Pump Omni Zone 9 is an… intriguing take, on the classic. So, here’s everything you need to know about the silhouette and the collab, shall we?

Reebok Pump – A Shoe Way Ahead of Its Time!

It’s the 80s, and Nike already dominates the market by signing Jordan and the groundbreaking Air-tech. So, other brands needed something equally good to hit the sneaker market with. And well, Reebok came up with the idea of one-upping Nike Air with the PUMP! According to their original ads, Pump is also an acronym for “performance under maximum pressure”. But what is it exactly?

We’re not gonna get too technical here, but here’s the basic idea of the Pump tech. The tongue of the shoe comes with a basketball-like button. When you press that, it inflates the heel-ankle area and makes the shoe fit perfectly to your foot. Moreover, there’s a pressure release valve on the shoe that helps you control the whole thing! Now, after this description, do you get the appeal of the kicks for a brand like MSCHF?

MSCHF Reebok Pump Omni Zone IX Takes Quirky to New Levels

The original shoes are effortlessly interesting and successful. However, the new MSCHF Reebok Pump goes the extra mile. MSCHF took the tongue button and well… went overboard, to say the least! Instead of just one on the tongue, the upper has nine fully functional pump units. These units are co-branded with some reading MSCHF and others Pump.

As for the colorway, the kicks will come in two colorways. The first is a mix of white, blue, and orange, and the second is a bleachy version of the first! Now, the coolest bit about these kicks is the “Boing Boing” on the heels. In addition to that, the midsole reads “Boing Boing Technology”. If we didn’t know better, we’d almost believe it! But we already know how MSCHF loves the Boing moments, especially with the big red boots. Anyway, the sneakers are really cool collectibles that you should add to your sneaker collection!

MSCHF Reebok Looks Like Something You Wanna Own?

Both colorways of the MSCHF Reebok Pump will drop on September 27, 2023, and they’ll retail for $250. These are sneakers that are totally worth the cop! But if you wanna go on the hunt for more than one pair of sneakers, then you need a lil help. A sneaker bot will prove to be a helpful hand when it comes to keeping an eye on the latest drops on multiple sites! But if you’re still green when it comes to sneaker botting, it’s better to start with a solid foundation. And make sure you keep an eye on the latest release on our blog. Godspeed!
