A Michael Jordan NFT Might Be Just What We Need Now!

Where the money goes, hype and investors follow. That’s exactly why we were all expecting the Michael Jordan NFT venture to come long before it actually did. But now that it’s here, did it live up to the standards we had in our heads? And will the Jordan craze help push the NFT hype further? Well, you gotta read on to find out what’s going down on the GOAT level. But if you’re still not sure of your knowledge, make sure to check out NFT terms you’ll definitely come across!

So How Do We Have a Michael Jordan NFT Without MJ?

Allow us to explain! MJ and his son Jeffrey teamed up to give us an NFT collection on the Solana blockchain. The Michael Jordan NFT collection, aka 6 Rings NFTs, was gonna include 10,010 items. However, due to low demand, only 5,005 NFTs saw the light of day. Well, the reason behind that could be the fact that MJ is nowhere in sight on these NFTs. Instead, you’ll find a bull with 6 rings on its horns, obviously. The available color options are gold, silver, red, black, and white.

Each Michael Jordan NFT sells for 2.3 Sol ($177.69 at time of writing), which is not a lot! Anyway, the collection sold out, but probably because the supply was cut in half. I mean, we’re not pointing fingers, but maybe if the collection actually had Jordan in it, it would’ve done better. But the buyers of this collection still get some cool perks. These perks include early access to more NFTs, access to the community, and more prizes!

Beyond the Michael Jordan NFT Collection – What’s MJ Doing?

Well, the GOAT is certainly not putting all his eggs in one basket. One of the ventures he’s investing in is the NBA-backed Top Shot by Dapper Labs. Between Michael Jordan and other investors, Dapper Labs got $305 Million in funding. Of course, nobody invests in something they won’t get profit out of. So when the card will show us MJ, he’ll probably be making some good money out of it all!

In addition to Top Shot, Nike acquired RTFKT Studios at the end of 2021. And we all know that whenever Nike wants to capitalize on something, the Jordan name will be there. So, when we get a Nike NFT collection by RTFKT, we’re almost sure we’ll get Air Jordan NFTs. And when the Jordan name is brought up, MJ will definitely make some good royalty money! We just gotta wait and see.

If You’re Still Not Sure About NFTs…

That’s completely normal! Every new venture has its risks, but well if you wanna follow your FOMO instinct, then go for it. However, if you don’t mind that, maybe go for an already well-established industry! The sneaker reselling industry has been around for a while now, and it has many benefits. But if you think cracking into the game is simple, well think again. You’re gonna need a sneaker bot like NSB by your side to help you out. Anyway, if you wanna know more about the world of sneaker botting and reselling, check this out. Godspeed 🔥
