May Sneaker Releases – As Hot As Midsummer!

Whether you’re looking for a colorful, muted, or even weird pair of sneakers, May has it all. However, we can’t possibly round it all up, so we went with the next best thing! May 4

Kicking off the month is none other than Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance who made us fall in love with their collabs. And well, the partners don’t plan to stop anytime soon, not that we mind. Now, the new collab is a pretty neat jade green and off-white New Balance 1906R. The golden details add a luxurious feel to the kicks, and well, they’re must-haves. And, in addition to cool looks, the kicks will retail for $170, but they’re worth $328 on average in resale!

May 5

Bodega and New Balance are no strangers to collabs either. We clearly remember their collaborative NB 574 and 997S releases. Now, a new silhouette is entering the partnership, and it’s none other than the New Balance 90/60. Although these babies originally dropped in December 2022, we’re getting a restock on May 5, 2023! The NB9060 x Bodega Age of Discovery feels earthy with the blue and brownish colorway. These babies are gonna retail for $180, but you can currently flip them for $250!

May 6

Although we discussed them here, consider this your reminder not to forget about the upcoming Pharrell Sambas. We’re not getting one, not two, but six different colorways! It’s 2015’s Pharrell Adidas Superstar Supercolor pack craze all over again. Although the range isn’t as big, it’s the same concept! So make sure you don’t miss the release on May 6, 2023.

Next up we have Jordan 2 Cement Grey. Although the silhouette isn’t a favorite for many sneakerheads, it went through a renaissance phase. And it seems like this phase is still ongoing, especially with all the new colorways. The Cement Grey AJ2 even made it to our list of May sneaker releases, and that says a lot! You can cop the pair on May 6, 2023, for $175. However, these babies are worth $253 on average in resale, which is impressive for a Jordan 2!

May 10

This day is certified cool-Nike-drop-day. Why? Because we’re getting three different sneakers that are worth every penny you’d pay for them. The first is the awesome Jarritos Nike SB Dunk collab. The only way you could miss all the news about the kicks is if you live under a rock. And we’re not exaggerating here. Another drop you should expect on May 10 is actually a double drop. Initial news mentioned the blue Nike Air Ship ‘Every Game’. However, later on, we got wind of a red colorway. And the main inspiration for both colorways? A pair of shorts! Retailing at $140, the blue pair is currently worth $290 on average.

May 11 – 13

Okay, we know, if you copped the previous day, you probably wouldn’t have recovered by May 11. But one can only hope, especially if you have a powerful all-in-one bot with you! Anyway, if you wanna go all in, then Jordan 11 Yellow Snakeskin is a great place to start. These babies will retail for $190 and are worth $275 on average in the aftermarket.
