Jordan 4 Thunder – Who Says No to an Electric Pair of Kicks?

Here we are, back at it with the retro colorways. Don’t get us wrong, we’re all here for that because who can say no to that? Although new colorways have their special spark, nothing beats a good retro. And the upcoming Jordan 4 Thunder is one of the releases we actually like! So, as usual, we’re gonna take a look at the story behind the colorway (there always is a story). And then, we’re gonna tell you everything you need to know about this release! But if you’re looking for more Jordans, this Summer lineup is what you totally need.

Jordan 4 Thunder – Motorsports Be Hitting Different

When you’re the goat, you can do whatever you want, and you’ll find people to partner up with you. And as it happens, Michael Jordan has some serious love for motorbikes. But since he was such a valuable asset in basketball, he stopped riding while he was in the NBA. However, when he retired for good, MJ reignited his passion for the sport in a different way. Instead of only going back to riding, he decided to start his own motorcycle team: Michael Jordan Motorsports.

Unfortunately for the GOAT, his motorsports venture wasn’t as successful as his basketball career. But if the 9-year run (2004 to 2013) gave us anything, it’s memorable sneakers. How? Well, the colors the team used on the bikes and uniforms were a great inspiration for Air Jordan colorways! For example, the OG Jordan 4 Thunder dropped in 2006 as a tribute to that year’s electric colors of the motorcycle team.

Retros, Retros, and More Retros

As we already mentioned, we got the first iteration of the Jordan 4 Thunder back in 2006. That pair is worth about $450 on the aftermarket. 6 years later, Jordan Brand decided to bring back that hot black and yellow shoe! Of course, everyone welcomed this retro, and it’s still pretty valuable today at $572 in average resale. Unfortunately, 2012’s retro was the last time we saw this colorway.

But, there’s always a but. Nobody’s better than JB at dropping a tribute colorway for a tribute colorway. Which obviously explains 2022’s Jordan 4 Red Thunder. You’d think that that pair would be meh, but well, think again! The Red Thunders were actually one of the best sneakers of 2002 in terms of sales. And today, these babies are worth $358 in resale on average, which is not too shabby if you ask us.

Jordan 4 Thunder 2023… Finally

It has been 11 years since we last got these babies, so we can risk it and say that it’s about time. Jordan 4 Thunder will finally hit the shelves on May 13, 2023, and will retail for $210. In addition to the cool factor, these kicks are worth $437 on average. In other words, you can easily make $200+ in profit by flipping the Thunders. So, how can you score a few pairs? Let’s find out!

Your best shot at scoring these Js on Nike SNKRS and at select retailers is a sneaker bot. An all-in-one bot like the upcoming NSB3 to be specific. From upgrades of existing modules to a brand-new Nike SNKRS module, you’ll find that NSB3 is all you need! In addition to that, the new AI Captcha solver will definitely make your life easier. If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, then go on and get your NSB copy today! Godspeed
