2022 is coming soon, and so are some really amazing sneakers that we haven’t seen in a while! So today, we’re giving the awesome AJ3s dropping this coming year the energy they deserve. That’s not all though, because we’re gonna check out the top 3 Jordan 3s too just to satisfy our curiosity. So, let’s get kicking and find out why Jordan 3 Fire Red should be on your shopping list and more!
Jordan 3 Fire Red – OGs Just Hit Different
The Air Jordan 3 silhouette is pretty cool and this colorway can actually pass as a classic, but why? Well, let’s jump back in time to 1988! Jordan 3 Fire Red is one of the four OG colorways that kickstarted the silhouette. The white, red, and elephant print design just gave the kicks that hot edge! Naturally, OG pairs had the Nike Air tag on the heel tab.
Fast forward to 2007 and 2013, and we got retros! But as with all AJ3 retros, sneakerheads were cautious, and they were right to do so. The sneakers were true to the OGs, except for one detail. Instead of the original Nike Air tag, we have the Jumpman. That’s a dealbreaker for many die-hard fans, but if you really feel this colorway, it wouldn’t be that bad. It’s not like you’re wearing fake Yeezys you know…
And 9 Years Later…
We finally are getting a proper OG retro! The new Jordan 3 Fire Red will be the exact same as the 1988 OGs down to the Nike Air tag. So if this colorway is on your grail list, better get ready for the drop in 2022! We can expect the kicks to arrive in Fall 2022, but we don’t have any more details yet. We’ll keep you posted on our blog though. In the meantime, let’s check out another cool 2022 release!
Jordan 3 Cardinal
Okay, so if you wanna go all the way in with your AJ3 love, we got just the pair for you. Jordan 3 Cardinal will satisfy your Jordan thirst with a really nice take on the 2011 AJ7 Cardinal! The pair features a really cool white and elephant print upper. The sock liners and midsole share the same shade of Cardinal Red, which explains the name of the kicks. We can expect the kicks to drop on February 24, 2021, for $200!
And if you wanna buy either of these babies, make sure you have your sneaker bot ready. After all, so many sneakerheads will be lining up to catch the latest OG retros just like you. But if you’re taking the botting business seriously, make sure you check out this guide. It’ll give you some pointers on what you’ll need for the perfect setup and the highest chance at Ws! Godspeed 🔥
Beyond Jordan 3 Fire Red – Top 3 AJ3s!
Jordan 3 White Cement
A classic pair that’s as important as Jordan 3 Fire Red. The White Cements is one of the OG colorways that highlighted Tinker Hatfield’s genius design! The last time we saw these babies was all the way back in 2011 and 2013. So who knows, maybe that’s gonna be the retro we’ll get after the Fire Reds? Anyway, this pair should be in every sneaker collector’s rotation. Naturally, the collectors who know what’s what!
Jordan 3 JTH Superbowl
What’s better than the halftime Superbowl show? Getting a signature pair by the performing artists at the same time! Justin Timberlake and Tinker Hatfield really killed it with this take on the OG White Cements. The extra swoosh and Nike embroidery certainly added an awesome feel to the kicks. These babies dropped during the 2018 Superbowl halftime show exclusively on Nike SNKRS! So if you were one of the lucky ones who caught the drop, good on you. The kicks are worth about $650 on the resale market today!
Jordan 3 Doernbecher
Last but not least, the yearly Doernbecher Freestyle program releases always have a special story behind them. But some pairs kinda hit harder than others in terms of drip. And Cole Johanson’s 2010 take on the Air Jordan 3 certainly left a huge impact on sneakerheads! The pair was so popular that it got a retro in 2013, and everyone at it up! Today, the 2013 pair goes for $773 on average on the aftermarket.
