Fragment Air Force 1 – When Doing the Bare Minimum Sells…

You know we love it when we get leaks of new sneaker releases. We live for that, really. And while sometimes rumors and leaks don’t show us the final product, they still give us a fair idea. But in the case of the upcoming Fragment Air Force 1, it’s kinda impossible to mess it up. Why? Because the kicks are as simple as they come! And according to some people, the Fragment collab game is falling behind. But is it really? Let’s check out the collab and what we know about it so far!

Fragment x Nike – A History Full of Great Kicks!

Hiroshi Fujiwara, the brain behind Fragment Design, is the father of streetwear for a reason. You see, he was and continues to be a revolutionary force when it comes to the streetwear scene. And his status landed him a long-term partnership with Nike that started back in 2010! Today, the repertoire between these two powerhouses is extensive.

Off the top of our heads, we can remember collabs like the Air Jordan 1 Fragment from 2014. And let’s not forget 2023’s CLOT x Fragment x Nike Dunk and Travis Scott’s controversial Fragment Jordan 1 from 2021! So, to sum it all up, Fragment kept serving us hot and valuable releases! And well, Fujiwara is pretty consistent with his simple touches and even simpler colors. But did the partners take it a bit too far with the Fragment Air Force 1? Let’s see!

Fragment Air Force 1 – A Fine Line Between Simple and Bland

If there’s a fine line between simplicity and flat-out boring, then this Fragment Air Force 1 is dancing on it. You see, as far as we can tell, the kicks feature the classic white leather colorway. However, subtle branding details set this pair apart from your average run-of-the-mill white Air Force 1! You see, the heel area features the signature lightning logo embossing. Meanwhile, you can find “FRGMT” etching on the midsole. So, unless there are more details we haven’t seen yet, the kicks are pretty basic.

Unfortunately, this collab wasn’t it for many. You see, they think that it’ll be an overpriced pair of the classic white AF1. Others think that it’s a lazy collaboration with a lack of creativity. On the other hand, there will always be collectors who’d love to add these babies to their sneaker collection. And if we’re honest, the kicks will most probably be worth a decent amount of money in resale! After all, most Fragment Design collabs are pretty valuable.

Release Info

Although there is no official release info, rumor has it that the kicks will drop during Summer 2024. In the meantime, you should get ready for this release by arming yourself with a good sneaker bot! An all-in-one bot can lend a hand with many cool upcoming drops on different sites like Shopify, Nike SNKRS, Footsites, and more. But if you don’t know where to start, we got your back with a list of the best sneaker bots!

You see, sneaker botting could be a means to an end. When you cop multiple pairs of those hype kicks, you open the door for a side hustle opportunity! We’re talking about sneaker reselling here.
