A Little Backstory of the CLOT Nike Cork Dunks

Oh, fun fact: a version of this idea was supposed to drop in 2013 to celebrate CLOT’s 10th anniversary!

Beyond the Cork in the New CLOT Nike Dunk Low Cork

So, we covered the cork part, but what about the rest of the design? Let’s take a look at what these babies are bringing to the table! Starting with the heel, we can spot the CLOT logo on the side, but the heel tabs have a story to tell. If you flip the tabs, you’ll see 2003 and 2023 on each shoe in Arabic and Chinese numerals. You can also find the Nike branding on the tongue! But you see, the most exciting things about these kicks are the accessories.

First off, you can attach the side swoosh with Velcro, and you get 6 options to choose from. The options are red silk, snakeskin, metallic rose gold, reflective, Bordeaux velour, and turquoise. But that’s not all, because CLOT and Nike took it up a notch with three sets of laces: white, black and red, and turquoise. Finally, the outsole will come in dark brown to complete the look.

According to Edison Chen, the goal of the CLOT Nike Dunk Low Cork is to give you a room to express yourself.
