It feels like yesterday that we rounded up the best sneakers of 2022. But here we are, ready to kiss the year goodbye with a list of the best sneakers 2023 gave us. From collabs to sneakers with a theme, this list has the crème de la crème of the year’s releases. We do this yearly round-up for you to catch up on what you missed and might wanna add to your sneaker collection. Or, it’s for you to find out the gems you’re unaware that you’re sitting on! So, without further ado, let’s see what the industry loved this year, shall we?

Best Sneakers 2023 – The Year’s Stars

This year was pretty versatile with many drops and collaborations. And honestly, it was pretty hard to pick favorites… It’s just like asking a mother to choose a favorite kid! However, one thing was very clear while our team went over the hottest releases; it’s that Nike and Jordan Brand dominated the year. However, out of all 8 sneakers that we’re gonna look at, 7 are collaborations! So, it’s safe to say that sneaker collaborations are still very popular and in demand. Now, let’s check out these babies together:

  1. CLOT Jordan 5 20th Anniversary
    Avg. Resale: $2,674
  2. Tiffany & Co. Nike Air Force 1
    Avg. Resale: $1,155
  3. Travis Scott Jordan 1 Golf Low
    Avg. Resale: $848
  4. Jordan 1 Low Year of the Rabbit
    Avg. Resale: $727
  5. KAWS Sky High Farm Air Force 1
    Avg. Resale: $764
  6. Travis Scott Jordan 1 Low Olive (W)
    Avg. Resale: $677
  7. Born x Raised Nike SB Dunk Low
    Avg. Resale: $536
  8. Corteiz Air Max 95 SP Pink Beam
    Avg. Resale: $369

Notes and Observations

These sneakers are some of the most hype this year on the market. And while Travis Scott still is as relevant as ever with his Js, more brands are slithering in. For example, the Corteiz Air Max 95 doesn’t feel like it has a very high resale value, it’s still worth it. The reason for that is that the kicks’ value in the last six months slowly but surely climbed. So today, it’s worth about $500 in reality! So, keep your eyes on the changes in the industry. Who knows? Maybe another pair you own would blow up in value like that too.

Most Popular Sneakers of 2023

Now that we saw the best sneakers 2023 gave us in terms of hype, we gotta see the most popular! And by the most popular we mean the ones with the most sales during the year. While these 5 might not have the highest resale, they’ll still turn heads when you put them on. The most interesting here though is that the top 2 are actually Adidas products! PS: The numbers are taken from StockX, so the number is higher than that if you include other platforms.

  1. Yeezy Slide Slate Grey
    Sales: 55,465
  2. Adidas Campus 00s Core Black
    Sales: 44,542
  3. Jordan 3 White Cement Reimagined
    Sales: 42,440
  4. Jordan 4 Thunder (2023)
    Sales: 40,322
  5. Jordan 1 Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse
