2018’s All Star Weekend is all about basketball, and crazy-exclusive kicks. And one of the really anticipated releases during that weekend is the Air Jordan 8 OVO.
The latest Air Jordan X Drake collaboration celebrates long years of success and creativity. After releasing 4 very successful silhouettes, between 2015 and 2017 the new Air Jordan 8 OVO is here to take it up a notch.
Drake has experimented with the Air Jordan 10s and 12s before, and on February 16th, 2018 the latest silhouette, Air Jordan 8 OVO will be introduced to the public.
Not so much to the public, since it’s releasing by means of DRAW on Nike’s SNKRS app. And that usually means a limited stock.
As with the usual OVO Air Jordan releases, there will be a black pair and a white pair. Both pairs will hold the OVO Brand’s Owl Logo on the heel tab, in addition to “Welcome” embroidery on the inside of the tongues. The overall silhouette is that of the fan-favorite Air Jordan 8 with golden artistic accents highlighting the other name in this collaboration. These golden designs appear on the shoe’s heel and sole, with a red Jumpman logo inside the conventional Air Jordan 8 Tongue tab.
As for the retail price, each pair of the Air Jordan 8 OVO collab will retail for $225. And if you don’t want to wear these, which we don’t understand, it seems that they will be making a good profit on the resellers market. Early pairs of the White and Black Air Jordan 8 OVO, are now selling on StockX for an average of $600 and $500 respectively.
