The Air Jordan 1 is an all-time favorite silhouette and Jordan Brand knows it. So, what better way to profit from it than to milk the model for all its got? This year, there are a reported 30 new colorways bound to drop. Okay, all bitterness aside, Jordan Brand is bringing us its latest colorways with Bred Toe color-blocking: the Air Jordan 1 Pine Green and Court Purple.
Green. Not your usual Air Jordan 1 colorway. In fact, according to Macklemore, Jordan himself hates the color green. So here’s how we know. Apparently, Macklemore showed Michael Jordan the unfinished samples of his green suede Air Jordan 6 Retros, and the man didn’t like ’em (see the video). Well obviously, Jordan Brand didn’t get the memo.
The Air Jordan 1 Pine Green will have the same color blocking as the Bred Toes, aka shoes we love. Part of the Black Toe lineup, Its plush leather will feature, Black, Sail, and, you guessed it, Pine Green.
It closely resembles the 2009 Defining Moments Celtic colorway, which is selling for an average of $500 on StockX, making 300+% its retail price. Not that we’re saying that this forest colorway will get the same public reaction.

Like the Pine Green, our Court Purple offers the same color blocking as the Bred Toes. This time, Purple hues take on the toe box, heel, ankle, and the outer sole. Both kicks are complete with Nike Air branding on the tongue.
Like the Bred Toe, the AJ1 Pine Green and Court Purple will presumably retail for the original price of $160. They will be available at Nike and select Jumpman retailers. Like the Bred Toes, there is a good chance the stock will sell out. So if you want to cop check out our sneaker copping starter kit.
