Air Jordan 1 Low Is Celebrating the 2020 Chinese New Year!

The Chinese new year is always a sneaker worthy occasion! 2020 is the year of the rat. And in February 2020, Jordan Brand isn’t missing the chance to drop a sneaker. That’s why it’s dropping a brand new Chinese new year themed Air Jordan 1 Low along with many 2020 releases that we’re very excited about!

A Chinese New Year Like No Other: Air Jordan 1 Low

The upcoming Air Jordan 1 low is dropping in a vivid mismatched colorway. It’s a mix of hot pink, white, black and grey that offer some contrast! In addition to the cool colors, you can find Chinese graphics on the toe box and the side panels. But that’s not all! We can see a flower embroidery on the swoosh to add a little color.

Release Deets

Release Date: February 2020 (there is no exact release date yet)
Style Code: CW0418-006
Retail Price: N/A
Avg. Resale Value: $461

We’ve got ourselves a relatively high resale value! The Air Jordan 1 low resale value isn’t usually stellar, of course, except for collabs and special editions. And the Chinese new year kicks are no different since Jordan Brand is only releasing 5,000 pairs. Not special enough yet? No problem, that’s why Nike added the 3M detailing for you! And finally, the number of the pair can be found on the back of the Wings logo badge to make it one of a kind!

We must also mention that these are not the only Jordan sneakers dropping for the Chinese New Year! A brand new, teeny tiny bit less colorful, Air Jordan 13 is dropping on February 1, 2020, for $200!

Conclusion

This year is packed with CNY releases, and Jordan isn’t stepping back in any way even with growing competition. Although we don’t know the full release deets, we can expect a fiery reception for the Air Jordan 1 low CNY. And it’s always better to have a bot up and ready for the cop whenever you get the latest news.
