We know that the end of the year is when all the magic happens in the sneaker industry. However, in a surprising turn of events, Converse stepped up with not one, but two A-list celebrity collabs! Although the brand isn’t a stranger to celebrity partnerships, this time it’s going all brat and hitting us hard and soft. If you didn’t catch our drift yet, it’s totally fine, because we’re gonna tell you all about it. But before we do, make sure you check out our blog for more hot collabs and sneaker releases! Now, if you’re ready, let’s dive right in and check out what’s popping, shall we?
Billie Eilish Converse Collab Already Sold Out!
So, on October 17, 2024, Converse rolled out two collaborative silhouettes by Billie Eilish! However, they’re not your average kicks because you can customize them. The two silhouette options are the classic Chuck Taylor and the All-Star Lift Platform. Everything about these kicks is customizable, from the soles to the laces! You can add or remove lyrics, Billie’s Blohsh logo, and stars because why not? Now, when these babies dropped, they retailed for $100 and $110, and they sold out! Kinda says a lot about how successful this collab is, right?
Charli XCX Brings Brat Energy to Converse This Holiday
Just as we recovered from the collab that hit us hard and soft, Charli XCX brought her brat energy to Converse! You see, the artist signed an endorsement deal with the brand and is now the new face of Converse. Charli stepped out and dropped her first campaign image on Instagram, which looked cozy next to a chimney with lots of Converse sneakers around her! But that seems to be just the beginning because she went on to tag Converse in the caption with the hashtag #teamconverse.
So, Converse Is Back in the Hype Run?
Well, it definitely is with artists lining up under the Converse banner. However, this is not the first time that the brand recruits celebrities with amazing drops to go along. For example, Tyler, the Creator’s Golf Le Fleur is always cooking something. We also got Rick Owens adding his gothic grunge touch to different Converse silhouettes. But with 2024 closing off with the Billie Eilish and Charli XCX collabs, we can definitely expect more heat to come in 2025! Naturally, if you wanna keep up with all the tea, our blog will have it all ready for you. Oh, and add to that some solid guides that will help you score the kicks for retail and more. Godspeed!
